Russell Patterson is a third generation Beaufort County resident. He has lived on Hilton Head Island for over 35 years and has been very active in a wide number of civic and social organizations. These include the Island Recreation Association, Hilton Head Christian Academy Booster Club, Hilton Head Sportfishing Club, Technical College of the Lowcountry Foundation, Great Island Committee, and Ducks Unlimited.
Russell has been married to Libby Patterson for over 30 years. They have two daughters, Ellie and Lauren, both of whom attended Clemson University. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, shrimping, boating, playing tennis, and exploring the local waterways.
Russell is admitted to practice in all of South Carolina’s trial and appellate courts and the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. He handles a broad range of legal matters, including commercial and residential real estate closings, mortgage foreclosures, collection cases, and complex business litigation. Additionally, he is an agent with Fidelity Title Insurance.
