Harrison’s practice focuses on civil litigation, both on the plaintiff and defense sides. He handles cases ranging from business disputes, real estate disputes, copyright, trademark, construction defects, TCPA claims, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, property owners’ association litigation, personal injury, debt collection, and insurance coverage matters. Harrison brings a unique perspective to his cases having represented clients, large and small, on both sides of a dispute.

Harrison graduated from Clemson University in 2011 with a B.A. in History and a minor in Legal Studies and  graduated cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2015. During law school, he was the Associate Editor in Chief of the South Carolina Law Review. Harrison’s student note was published in the law review’s annual Survey of South Carolina Law, and he served as a student attorney in the law school’s consumer bankruptcy clinic, which provides legal aid to those who cannot afford it.

Harrison started his legal career by clerking for South Carolina Circuit Court Judge Mark Hayes in Spartanburg. During his year long clerkship, Harrison witnessed firsthand numerous court proceedings, trials, jury selections, chamber meetings, and hearings. Following his clerkship, Harrison worked for a well-respected defense firm, representing architects and engineers and litigating insurance coverage matters, intellectual property disputes, and catastrophic aircraft injuries.  Subsequently, Harrison worked for two local law firms representing both plaintiffs and defendants, gaining extensive court room experience litigating complex personal injuries, insurance bad faith claims, and property disputes.

Harrison currently lives on Hilton Head with his wife, their two sons, and one crazy golden retriever.  He is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the Beaufort County Bar Association, the Hilton Head Bar Association, and a graduate of Leadership Hilton Head.  In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, traveling with friends, and skiing out West.
