She began her legal career clerking for South Carolina Circuit Court Judge G. Thomas Cooper, where she gained valuable insight into court proceedings and judicial decision-making. As a life-long resident of Hilton Head Island, Lauren is connected with the local community. She serves clients throughout Hilton Head, Bluffton, and Beaufort County across a variety of transactional and litigation matters.
Lauren graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Financial Management and a minor in Accounting. She earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law. During law school, she served as the Editor in Chief of the ABA Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal.

Lauren lives on Hilton Head with her husband, their three sons, and their golden retriever, Charlie. In her free time, Lauren enjoys reading, boating, and enjoying all the Lowcountry has to offer.
